Wedding parties are great fun not only for the happy couple but for the guests as well. The actual wedding ceremony has only near and
dear ones attending in the church or the registry office, but wedding parties give the couples a chance to share their joy with every acquaintance they know. Post wedding ceremony, the party is held either in the banquet hall of a big hotel or a club.
Very rarely is it held in the couples’ or their parents’ home. Except in few exceptional cases where the bride or the groom comes from an exceptionally wealthy family and residing in a mansion, a huge gathering is an absolute no-no for an average apartment.
Music has an important place in any wedding. When the couple arrives at the party they are ushered in with joyous exclamations and greetings. Here Comes the Bride is the favorite of any wedding party music and is definitely played at first.
The party starts and a toast is raised to the couple. The couple is showered with gifts and wishes for their future together, the wedding cake is cut and partaken in by one and all.
One important aspect of wedding parties is the decoration. The venue is decorated with wedding candles, flowers, garlands and lights
The Master of the Ceremonies or the host introduces the newly wedded to the guests. With the music playing and DJs mixing the hot numbers, the married couple takes to the dance floor and after one round all the other couples join in the dancing.
