Wedding bouquets are an important part of any wedding. Certain things in life never grow old – the picture of a happy blushing bride on the arms of her man with a delicate bridal bouquet in her hands being one such endearing picture. In earlier times, or more precisely, untill the last two or three generations, weddings meant a solemn ceremony in church or a plain civil marriage. The wedding bouquet then consisted of traditional wedding flowers in a bunch tied with a ribbon. Today’s couples are more eager to set a trend in their own capacity than following a trend. Hence, designer wedding bouquets are doing brisk business.
Weddings are getting more and more professionally organized. Parents and siblings are mere spectators; the wedding plans and their execution depend on the couple and their wedding planner. Therefore wedding bouquet for the bride is no more only roses or lilies. It depends on the theme of the wedding and whether it is an indoor wedding or an outdoor wedding. However, there are a couple of popular wedding bouquets that stand out in any wedding. My Dear Valentine is describing some of them:

Nosegays: Nosegays will remain ever popular. This bouquet goes well with any wedding dress, designer or traditional, and is chic and elegant. Nosegay bouquets arranged in a round cluster is also called tussie mussie. This wedding floral arrangement dates way back to the 14th century.
Hand-tied bouquets: Hand-tied bouquets depend on the bouquet designer or the florist. There are different flowers, accessories, long leaves in such an arrangement. They are tied with a colorful ribbon with the stem exhibited. Hand-tied bouquets have a casual air and are not considered very formal. Therefore garden weddings or brides sporting an elegantly casual look can have these bouquets for their most important day of their lives.
