From time immemorial, man has been enamored with unanswered questions that spring from unexplained happenings that occur in the lives of many. Such unexplained happenings were given many fanciful names. Some people had a very developed sixth sense and psychic powers. They could see things happening even if it was not happening right at that moment. These people obviously gained a particular status in the society as people in distress went to them to have their problems solved. Then, came the concept of using herbs and other natural ingredients with healing powers to “solve” the problems. Mixing the ingredients, chanting different words in low rhythmic and monotonous voice giving amulets and other tokens to the distressed people became the mainstay of the “power” of a psychic and those would perform such rituals were known as witches.
Witchcraft was and still is something very special, not all can actually connect with the other world. Spells are a part of practicing witch craft and all ancient civilizations like the Mesopotamian, the Babylonian, and the Egyptian had love spells to attract love and sex.
