Black love poems can be funny, true and romantic. Black woman love poems describe love in the most beautiful manner. Black woman love poems leave a feeling of joy in the heart when expressed. Black woman love poems express love and its deepest sentiments in all its sensory detail. Love awakens the senses thereby making something that was something ordinary into something extra ordinary.
By Tracy S. Fulton
Love entered in my heart one day
A sad onwelcome guest
But when it begged that it might stay
I let it stay and rest.
It broke my might with sorrowing
it filled my heart with fears
and, when my soul was proving to sing,
it filled my heart with tears.
But...now it has gone it's way
I miss the dear ole' pain.
And sometimes in the night I pray
that "Love" might come again.
By Tierra Ray
Without you am nothing
without you my life aint da same
Without you I have no umbrella
to make it through the rain
Without you my day is gray
without you my sunshine has gone away
Without you I feel that my world has been turned upside down
without you all I can do is frown
Without you I keep thinking about
the days you were here with me
How we shared good times
and lots of memories
Without you I feel like
my heart has been broken forever
And without you
it can’t be put back together....
