- Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients:
- Oats: 1 cup (rolled)
- All-purpose flour: 2 1/2 cup
- Butter: 3/4 cup
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Milk: 2 tablespoon
- Egg: 1
- Sugar: 3/4 cup
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
Directions:
- Beat the flour and the baking powder along with the salt in a small bowl and set it aside. In another bowl, mix the egg, butter, milk, vanilla, and sugar, stir well until smooth. Add the oats to the mix.
- Flour a board, roll the dough into 1/8th inch thickness, and cut it in the shape as desired. Bake this for about 20 minutes at 375 degrees on a non-greased cooking sheet. Let it cool completely on wire racks before serving.
- Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:
For the Cookie:
- Baking soda: 1/4 teaspoon
- Baking powder: 3/4 teaspoon
- Butter: 1 cup (softened)
- Flour: 2 3/4 cup
- Egg: 1
- Milk: 1/4 cup
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Unsweetened cocoa: 1/2 cup
- Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
For the Frosting:
- Butter: 1/2 cup (softened)
- Powdered sugar: 2 cup
- Red food coloring
- Maraschino cherry juice: 2-3 tablespoon
Directions:
- Whisk the butter and the sugar in a large bowl until fluffy, mix the egg and vanilla to it and stir well to blend properly. Now, add the flour to the mix along with baking powder, cocoa, and soda. Refrigerate the dough for about an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, in the meantime; roll the dough into 1/8th inch thickness on a floured surface. Cut the dough into desired shape with the cookie cutter. Place the cookies onto the non-greased cookie sheet in distance.
- Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees or until set. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack. Mix all the frosting ingredients in a small bowl, add 1-tablespoon cherry juice at a time and pour the red food coloring. Frost the bottom side of the cookie and serve.

Ingredients:
- Flour: 1 1/2 cup
- Cream of tartar: 1 teaspoon
- Almond or lemon extract: 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter: 1/2 cup
- Vanilla: 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg: 1
- Soda: 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar: 3/4 cup
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
Directions:
- Beat the cream and sugar in a small bowl and add the eggs to it, mix well so that it blends properly. Mix the dry ingredients and the flavorings in a small bowl and keep it aside.
- Roll out a cookie from the batter in the shape of heart and season it with red sugar. Place the rolls onto a cookie sheet and bake for around 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
