The film You've Got Mail has been directed by Nora Ephron and is set in the West Side of the New York City. This movie tells the story of Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) and Joe Fox (Tom Hanks).

Joe has an affair with the book editor Patricia Eden (Parker Rosy) and Kathleen has a relationship with newspaper columnist Frank Navasky (Greg Kinnear). Kelly and Joe does not reveal to each other their real identities and tell each other about every incident that is associated with their life, as they converse with each other over the internet.

Kelly's business gets endangered by the opening of the Fox Books discount store just "around the corner". She meets Joe Fox. but his ways that he adopts to run his business annoys Kelly. Kelly follows the advice of his mail pal and closes down her bookstore without realizing that her anonymous mail pal is Joe Fox and Joe Fox's life takes a different turn, when he comes to know that his anonymous mail pal is none other than Kathleen Kelly.
