Stuffed French Toast

Stuffed French Toast as an appetizer has many takers in this world. It is wholesome, easy to make and needless to say satisfies even the most particular connoisseur of food. For loving couples out on a dinner date on Valentine's Day, stuffed French toast makes the perfect appetizer to begin their journey of gastronomic delights. My Dear Valentine is presenting the recipe for you to make it at home.

1 loaf of French bread (1 lb)
Package cream cheese (1 ounce)
4 eggs
Irish cream liqueur (1/4 cup)
1 tbs vanilla extract
Ground cinnamon (1/4 tbs)
Ground nutmeg (1/4 tbs)
Butter (2 tbls)
Orange marmalade (1/3 cup)



Method:
Slice the French bread on a slant, and slice the brick of cream cheese into half inch thick slices. Now make a slit in each slice of French bread through the crust to form a pocket. Place a slice of cream cheese in each pocket and set aside. In a small bowl, beat together eggs, Irish cream liqueur, cinnamon and nutmeg. Melt butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Briefly dip the bread slices in the egg mixture and place on the frying pan. Brown on both sides and serve warm with a dollop of orange marmalade on top.
