21 ounces coconut
1 pound powdered sugar
1-14 ounce canned sweetend condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter
12 ounces of almond or chocolate bark

PREPARATION: Melt butter, add milk, sugar, vanilla and coconut and mix them properly until they have blended properly. Refrigerate the mixture overnight roll them into balls which are of the size of a small walnut. Dip in melted bark and place on wax paper until it sets firmly.

INGREDIENTS:
1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 (12 ounce) package grated coconut
1 (24 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 tablespoons solid vegetable shortening

PREPARATION: Mix condensed milk, butter, sugar and coconut and stir continuously until it blends perfectly. Cover with wax paper and let it chill in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Melt chocolate with shortening in the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water. Roll the coconut mixture into 3/4-inch balls and with fork dip them into the chocolate syrup. Drop on wax paper and let it cool and dry.
