Chocolate Sticks

Ingredient:
2 Squares bitter chocolate
1/2 c Butter
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Chopped pecans or walnuts




Preparation:

Melt the chocolate with butter and add a cup of sugar and stir well until it blends properly. Stir in the eggs, first the yolks and then the whites which have previously been beaten with 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Add vanilla, half a cup of flour and fold in the nuts. Bake the mixture at 350 degrees for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until its firmly settled. Finally when the mixture is solidified, cut the block into slim rectangular sticks.
