Valentine's Day in Hungary

Hungarian society celebrates love in a low key fashion. So Valentine's Day in Hungary is quite uncomplicated. But this is not to suggest that, this Eastern European country is immune to love and romance. Valentine celebrations have become a global phenomenon and no young adult in Hungary is immune to it. The worldwide tradition of giving Valentine presents, Valentine cards, Valentine flowers is followed in Hungary as in other parts of the world.

Valentine's Day in Hungary is unobtrusive but that does not mean that there is no celebration. Food plays an important part in Hungary's Valentine celebrations. Some food for love is mentioned below:
