Homemade Perfumes

Perfumes are the most well accepted gifts to be given for every occasion. Although there are a variety of perfumes available

in the market you can make your own perfumes sitting in the comfort of your homes. You can create your own scents to suit your unique personality. In order to make your own perfumes it would be advisable to use fragrance instead of essential oils. This would be relatively cheaper to have a perfect scent.

The oils can cause harm and effect your work environment. Hence it would be advisable to keep them away from your place of work. Whispering Rain Perfume:
  • 3 full tablespoons of Ethyl Alcohol or Vodka
  • 10 drops of fragrance oil or bergamot essential oil
  • 2 full cups of distilled water
  • 5 drops of fragrance oil or sandalwood essential oil
  • 10 drops of cassis essential oil

    Method:
    Put all the ingredients in an airtight bottle and mix well. And leave it for about 12-15 hours for settling it. One should store this perfume in a cool dry place. Shake well before using it.

    2 cups distilled water
    3 tablespoons vodka or Ethyl Alcohol
    5 drops lavender essential/fragrance oil
    10 drops chamomile essential/fragrance oil
    10 drops valerian essential oil

    Directions:
    Mix all the ingredients together, shake well. Place in a dark color bottle. Then allow the perfume to settle for at least 12 hours. Store in a cool dry area.

    Enchanted Scent:

    2 cups distilled water
    3 tablespoons vodka or (Ethyl Alcohol which you can find at just about any pharmacy). Do not use rubbing alcohol, as it will ruin the scent.
    5 drops everlasting essential/fragrance oil
    10 drops peony essential/fragrance oil
    10 drops sandalwood essential/fragrance oil

    Directions:
    Mix all the ingredients together, shake well. Place in a dark color bottle. Then allow the perfume to settle for at least 12 hours. Store in a cool dry area.
