Family Love Poems
My Family
By Prashant Jain
In those days, when I used to crawl,
They kept me away from every brawl,
Grew a bit older, they taught me how to read,
Learnt to love everybody, whatever be the creed,
In my teens, when immaturity was riding high,
Learnt how to remain grounded, when flying high,
In the waves of adulthood, the sea shook my core,
Learnt how to swim, but they never left the shore
Without them, I literally would have messed,
Am very thankful to my family, for making me feel blessed!!
Family Ties
By Gail LaBostrie
A family is there to guide you on your way
enjoying the time you have together, knowing you cannot stay
they do not judge you and are always there
if you need comfort, next to family, no one else can compare
as much as they love you, they still allow you to live your own life
even though their wisdom is greater and they long to save you from some of life's strife
a family lets you try your wings but are always there to catch you if you fall
doing it in a way that strengthens, not making you feel foolish or small
families are a gift from God, ties that truly bind
and I am so lucky to belong to a family like mine!
