It is an old Greek tale. Orpheus and Eurydice were a happy couple. Everything was just fine, until one day the Greek God Aristaeus became very fond of Eurydice's beauty and tried to take her. But, somehow she managed to run and became a victim of snake's bite. This took her life. Eurydice became mad knowing that and started singing sad songs. His songs finally impressed Hades and Persephone. They agreed to return his wife to him, but on one condition. He was required to walk in front of her and not turn back.
