Masked Love Bird

The masked lovebirds belong to the parrot family. They are native to the northeast Tanzania. Masked love birds make good pets for they have a very friendly nature. They cackle a lot and those families which have a problem with excessive noise may find these love birds a little tiresome. But their popularity all over the world, proves that these birds ins spite of their raucous nature are well loved by their owners.

There are two types of masked love birds,
i) green masked love birds
ii) blue masked love birds (also known as cobalt)

The green masked and the blue masked are both beautiful birds but as their name suggests, they have variation in coloring.
