Lovebird Eggs - The lovebirds lay about 5 eggs. The first egg starts to hatch after twenty-four days. The incubation period is 22-25 days. The male lovebird joins the female lovebird in the nest only after the second egg is hatched. Problems - The signs of sickness of lovebirds are, ruffled feathers, watery eyes, runny nose, an increase in the sleeping hours, curtailment in activities, a color change in the droppings, sneezing and excessive scratching.
Availability - The Peach - faced, the Masked and the Fischer's Lovebird are the most commonly found species.
