Already Taken? What to do if You Love Him, But He Already Has a Girlfriend
I Love Him But He Has A Girlfriend
You’re totally smitten with him. He’s everything you’re looking for in a man, and you desperately want to make him yours.

But there’s only one problem. He’s already got a girlfriend.

If this situation sounds uncannily familiar, then don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many girls have suffered the same set of circumstances in the past, and whilst it can be painful, there are certain steps you can take to make life better for yourself.

He Already has a Girlfriend? Techniques to Make Your Life Easier

Be accepting of the situation. There are plenty of guides on the internet, offering advice on how to steal a man from another woman. But, when you think about it, it’s not a particularly nice thing to do; and if he’s the type of man who allows himself to be stolen, is he the right man for you? Instead, it’s better to be as accepting as you can of the fact that he has a girlfriend already, and keep your conversations with him as friendly and non-flirty as possible.

Stay friends with him . Even if he has a girlfriend, there’s no harm in staying friends with him. In fact, this is a really good idea; after all, if he splits up with his girlfriend and becomes available again, you want to make sure that you’re the first one he thinks about!

Date other men. Whatever you do, don’t sit at home and pine for him. Get out there, meet new men and go on dates. Who knows, you might even meet someone new who makes you completely forget about your other man.

Don’t torture yourself. It can hurt when you see him with his girlfriend, so don’t put yourself through that pain. Wherever possible, avoid being with the two of them together, though it’s really important to make sure that you don’t come across as rude.

If you’re struggling to accept the situation, then talk to a trusted friend, or to your parents. Remember that you’re not alone in feeling like this, and that things will get better with time.
