Mothers are the most important members of our family. A mother is like goddesses who have ten virtual hands to do different jobs in no time. If you are a fan of super hero's have you actually thought that you have a super woman in your house? Mothers many be different in their features, but they are all the same. Mothers Day is celebrated worldwide on different dates to honor the goddess of your life, your mother.

Everyone has a mother. Some are privileged to have them for long, while others lose them at an early age. Those who do not have their mothers with them too can celebrate this day by remembering their mother and spending time with her memories.

History of Mothers Day:

From when is mothers day being celebrated, is not exactly known. But history gives a lot of evidence of Mothers Day being celebrated in various forms in the yesteryears. While Lamberts celebrated this day with a festival called Cybele in Greece, Romans kept a day known as Matronalia aside, to celebrate Mothers Day. Europe on the other hand celebrated Mothers Day with several traditions and by selecting a specific Sunday for it which they called as the Mothering Sunday. In United States, Mothers Day was first celebrated as "Mothers Day Proclamation".

How to celebrate a Mothers Day:

Mothers are a daring. You must celebrate this day in their honor every year and let them know that how much you care. There are several ways by which you can celebrate Mothers Day. Some of them are:

• Bring a cake or prepare one and decorate it with a beautiful caption and your mother's name.
• Get a gift for your sweet mother.
• If you know to play a guitar or any musical instrument, play a song or tune for your mother
• Dedicate your entire day to your mother. Spend quality time with her, take her for dinners or to her favorite place.
• Act like a baby how ever grown up you are, as your mummy loves pampering you and being pampered.

These and many other things can be done to celebrate Mothers Day and make your Mom feel cared.
