Ghetto Friendship Poems

Friends are an indispensable part of our lives. As the pace of life gets faster and faster we are relying more and more on friends. Sometimes we share our darkest secrets with our closest friend. But life in ghetto can be pretty mean, where only taking is the norm without any giving. Ghetto friendship poems deal with the pain and misery of life in the ghettos.

Some ghetto friendship poems are touchingly pathetic. The anguish of ghetto life, where there is no security of life itself, let alone a friend can be heart breaking. Ghetto poems are written by people who know ghetto life first hand, who live in ghettos.

They are able to convey the wretched conditions of the ghetto life sincerely. Ghetto friendship poems are simply raw. The searing pain sometimes cut through. Ghetto poems openly confess that life in the ghetto is without any peace of mind. There cannot be anything called "life" in a ghetto. Homes are not secure, nor are the human being. There is nothing, that reminds anyone of the finer qualities of human beings.

But this is not to suggest that there is no life in the ghettos. In spite of all the odds people fall in love, perhaps get married and raise a family. There are some lasting friendships in the ghettos and quite a few poems celebrate this spirit of friendship.
