Frank Sinatra And Mia Farrow | | |
A voice so melodious that it set many hearts a flame, a figure so distinct that thousand hearts lost their beats – that’s Frank Sinatra for you. Some consider him to be one of the best if not the best, of all American vocalists of all times. Frank Sinatra was a darling with women, be it in his personal life or professional life. Though apart from his first wife Nancy Barbeto, his other relationships involved women from his professional life.
Sinatra married Nancy in 1939 and the marriage saw three children coming in the couple’s lives. But for reasons best known to Sinatra himself, he could not remain faithful to her and soon started drifting away. He began an affair with another screen great Ava Gardner, whom some consider to be his greatest and truest love. However this marriage also did not work and he started with Lauren Bacall. Again, the affair did not last and then Frank Sinatra And Mia Farrow came together to start a life of their own.
Mia Farrow has made her name in the Hollywood and has won several awards with her performances. She has portrayed several characters in films like Secret Ceremony, See No Evil, John and Mary, Rosemary’s Baby, The Great Gatsby, A Wedding and Death on the Nile. Widows’ Peak and Miami Rhapsody have seen the stupendous performance of Mia Farrow as an actress. Of course the names are by no means exhaustive, she has acted in other films as well. Mia Farrow has another identity something with which she closely identifies. She is an ardent advocate for children’s rights and a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She actively promotes children’s rights and concentrates on the plight of the Dafuri refugees.
Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow married on July 19, 1966. There was a massive age difference between them, Sinatra was 50 and Farrow was 21. This marriage was not destined to last as there were major differences in the perceptions towards life. Farrow wanted to continue work in her own way, but Sinatra wanted her to stop working on her movie and concentrate on his movie, The Detective. Farrow got the divorce papers from him on the sets of Rosemary’s Baby, directed by Roman Polanski. So ended their “love affair.”
