Bill Clinton And Hillary Rodham Clinton

Bill Clinton can be termed as one of the finest Presidents of United States of America. He was in office from 1993 to 2001. President Clinton was born as William Jefferson Blythe III, but after his mother remarried, he formally took his step father’s name when he was fourteen years old. Brilliant in his studies and with a talent in playing the saxophone, young Bill thought of dedicating his life to music.

But destiny had other ideas for this young lad from Arkansas. Clinton took a degree in Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC. It was in Washington DC, that he started working for Senator J. William Fulbright.

Winning the Rhodes Scholarship took him to Oxford University. Oxford saw Clinton engaged in a lot of activities other than studies. He was a good rugby player and regularly took part in the University games. Much later, he also played for Little Rock Rugby club.

Vietnam War, in the 1950’s created a tremendous movement against American big brotherly attitude and President Roosevelt. It is one of the most shameful phases of American politics when it comes to the Third World countries. Clinton joined the movement against Vietnam War while at Oxford. For the former President, Oxford was not the end of road for him in studies, he joined Yale Law School in 1973. Winning the Presidential elections in 1992, changed his life for ever. Specially winning against Republican George Bush was extremely commendable.
Clinton reaped the benefit of George Bush’s policy change and much of his campaign was dedicated to taunting the former President about the change in his policy. With Clinton’s win the republican era in White House came to an end and Democrats were in charge for good. American economic growth was by leaps and bounds in Clinton era. His wife is equally distinguished in politics and Bill Clinton And Hillary Rodham Clinton were married in 1975. Hillary Clinton has grown up as a practicing Methodist and even as a child was engaged in numerous Church activities. Schooling was done from Maine East High School, were she was the class prefect and an active member of the student council. She was also a member of the debating team. She topped her graduation class in Political Science and had the rare distinction of being the first graduate to deliver a commencement address in the history of Wellesley College. 1969 saw the entry of Hillary in Yale Law School. It was here that she met her future husband, Bill Clinton. Seriously dating for nearly two years Bill Clinton And Hillary Rodham Clinton decided to get married in 1975, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Bill Clinton’s wedding gift to his wife was a house which she had liked. Clinton had bought the house before proposing marriage to her.

Though the happiness in their marriage was often marred by Clinton’s indiscretions, most notably by Monica Lewinsky, Mrs. Clinton has stood by her husband through rain and sunshine giving him immense support and encouragement.
