It is really difficult to face the truth that the person for whom you are going mad, doesn’t care for you at all. Whatever it is, you need to come out of the situation and try to move on.
True love cannot be one sided and if it is, then you must know how to stop feeling strongly about that person. Extremely difficult but you have to do it!

Avoid the triggers: If a song or a particular place reminds him of you, then you must avoid them so that they don’t act as accelerators to your memory regarding him. Easier said than done, but you have to try it out.
Get engaged in something productive: This will help you to forget him/her faster and you will slowly stop loving or thinking about the person.
Get engaged to someone else: Replacement is a nice way to get over certain things. If you can get another person to replace the vacuum created in your life, you will soon stop loving the former and get involved with the latter.
Make friends: Friendship is one of those relations that helps you to overcome much of the hurdles of life. Hang out with old friends and make some new. You will soon forget the person who had never loved you.
- Spend more time with family: Apart from friends, your family members can help you a lot. Think of all those whom you could not give time since your mind was engrossed with his/her thoughts, and try to spend some time with them. These interactions will help you to come out of the sorrow of the feeling that you love someone who doesn't.
