How to Make Your Husband Fall in Love With You Again
If you have been married for a while, it can be easy to slip into routines and for the romance to fizzle out. Soon it seems like your husband isn’t paying attention to you any more, the spark is gone, and you may even feel like he is no longer in love with you.
It is easy to get caught up in the day to day, in our own worlds, and forget that real love does take work and nurturing. Here are a few ideas on how to make your husband fall in love with you all over again.
What He Wants to See
Start by taking care of yourself. It can’t be argued that men are visual creatures. We aren’t saying you need to be in Barbie doll shape, but putting away the flannel pajamas, slipping into something sexy and yes, remembering to wax those legs can certainly give our looks a boost.
Get a new haircut that makes you feel great, throw on a facial mask, and do all the girly things that are the extra touches that really help you look your best. Not only does making yourself look more attractive turn him on, it also gives you a boost of confidence, and that is the sexiest thing of all.
Next you need to remember to get physical. We aren’t talking the quickies you’ve been reduced to between putting the kids to bed and sleep, but more touching, even in everyday life. When was the last time you really kissed your partner (and a quick peck when they are running out the door doesn’t count)? Start with something even simpler if you like, hold hands! Just this little bit of contact can help jump start the love again. Speaking of getting physical, you also need to make time for each other away from the stresses of life. This means you need to get a baby sitter for the kids once in awhile and go on an adults only date, one that ends with plenty of enjoyable alone time.
What He Wants to Share
Love isn’t all about the physical of course; a good amount is all about the happiness you share together. Set aside a little time to really talk. Make certain subjects off limits. There is to be no talk of bills, deadlines, stressful meetings, or anything else that is a worry. Instead focus on each other. Start by simply asking how the other person is. Talk about dreams, the future, your best memories together. Talking to each other about happy things can help you fall back in love and remember why you got together in the first place.
Another tip, and the most important – be kind to one another! Be slow to get angry, apologize when you are in the wrong, keep private issues private. You could even call each other pet names if you are so inclined. Who doesn’t like getting called honey or sweetheart after all? These may seem like small things, but loves foundation is built on small things! Also remember to tell your husband that you love him, he may be feeling like you are out of love with him too.
Try these steps and see if your husband doesn’t soon fall in love with you again.
