Have you been dumped by the girl whom you loved a lot? Were you completely astonished by the sudden news that you don’t exist in her life anymore? Many of us face this situation and at this point we feel completely down about ourselves.

You feel as if you were being used by the girl, and now the need is over. For you, it turns out to be a complete wastage of energy, time and money. If you are a guy who has been recently dumped by his girlfriend, here are few tips which you may check out to deal with the situation:

Accept the fact: The faster you do it, the better it is for you. She has dumped you because she doesn’t need you anymore. Hence don’t hope that she will come back in your life. This will increase your pain and at the end it will give you nothing but sheer disappointment. If possible, lock yourself in a room and cry a lot. This will gush out the anguish of grief and you will feel good. You may also release the emotions by screaming or even punching the pillow.

Chuck out everything related to her: It may be a card or a gift or anything, simply put it away from you. You need to eliminate everything that reminds you of your ex. If you keep them as a token of the relationship that existed once, you will never be able to forget her. Collect everything related to her, put them inside the storage and forget about them.

Spend more time with Friends: Your friends can be a big support for you at this moment. Be with them, if possible arrange for regular get together with them so that you can drift your mind from your ex and her memories. Talk to them about your situation and take necessary suggestions from them. Make new friends and spend quality time with them so that your mind remains occupied with positive thinking. You may also look for some “special” friends who will fill the gap.

Spend time with family: In most of the cases, we get so much involved with our love relationship that we fail to give adequate time to our family. This is perhaps the best time to rectify. Spend as much time possible with your mom or sister. Talk to your dad whether you can take any responsibility for the home like paying the monthly electricity bills or telephone bills. Have dinner with them and try to spend less time alone in your room when you are at home.

Focus on career: This is the best time to look out for some better career opportunities for you, since you didn’t get the time so far. Drive all your energy to look out for a promotion/hike in the current job or try to find out suitable job which will give a better edge to your career. Work on some project which you always wanted to do. Concentrate on your career and you will soon forget the break up.
