  1. Take him/her on a date and start with casual conversations. Order some junk food for yourself and some healthy food for him/her. Slowly plunge into the point of how bad those junks on table are for health and speak about the goodness of that healthy stuff in contrast. Tell him/her that these foods have started affecting his/her health and he/she must do something regarding that. He/she will understand what you are trying to say.

  1. Take him/her to a shopping mall, and choose a skin fitting dress for your partner. tell him/her that you would like to see him/her in this particular dress and want him/her to look exactly like the model doll. He/she will get the point.
     
  2. Join a gym together. weight loss programs seem to be boring for many people and they get inspired if they get good company. So who else can be a better source of motivation for him/her other than you? At least this much can be done for you love interest? What say? Even if you are not overweight, you will be fitter and your partner will be slimmer after the gym sessions.
     
  3. Hit the social parties together. show him/her those couples who are slimmer and hence more attractive than yours. Without hurting sentiments, tell him/her that you two can look great together if he/she takes care of his/her health. Risky but a sure-shot trick would be to introduce him/her to a slimmer and gorgeous friend of yours (preferably of opposite sex to you) and praise him/her for being fitter and stunning. If your partner is smarter, he/she will understand your point. Be cautious, this experiment, if not done carefully may be fatal for your relationship.
     
  4. Take him/her to some nutritionist who can give him/her some professional advices regarding the cons of being overweight and the pros of weight loss.
     
  5. If you are unable to speak out that your partner really needs to shed those layers of fat in no time, you can take the help of a common friend who will depict the truth. Through the friend you can convey the message to your partner that if he/she doesn’t do anything serious regarding weight loss, it will be difficult for you’re to sustain longer. If your partner really wants you to be in life, he/she will definitely “shape” himself/herself up to match up to your standard. Will not that be a test of true love as well?
