"Time heals wounds", as goes the popular saying the best way of getting over a break up is to leave it on time. A broken heart represents the saddest emotion and at times it becomes quite tough to heal the wounds. At the end of a relationship, the heart and mind of an individual goes through various emotions like; fear anger, sadness, and resentment.

 

To get over a break up what you need is confidence in yourself and the strength to fight all odds. Furthermore, a positive approach towards life is also needed as a break up does not mean the end of all roads. You have to understand that life has not come to an end and there is lot more to do in life.



The most important thing to be kept in mind is every end has a new beginning and as goes the popular saying that "whenever God closes a door for you, he opens a window for you." A broken heart definitely takes time to heal and there is no instant remedy to it. But with time and all your confidence it is easy to start a new life with a new beginning.

Don't generate any negative thoughts in your mind or hold yourself responsible for the break up and find all negative traits in yourself. There is absolute no need of harming yourself for some other person. Retain your respect in your own eyes and don't let your confidence droop down over a break up. .

Surviving a break up is not an easy task and at times sends a heavy blow to an individual's mental set up. Let's have a look at some of the quick tips on how to get over a break up.
 

  1. Forget the Past - Forget the past, live in the present and plan for your future to witness a new and healthy life. Get away with all things from presents to any memoirs that remind you of your love. Never try to contact your ex-lover and try to come out of all attachments. Delete phone numbers and messages from your cell phone and get rid of photos too. Be open to new relationships.

  2. Accept the situation - Try and accept the situation, it's definitely coming to terms with something bad but mere drooping over it would not help. You need to accept whatever has happened and let this be a learning experience for you. Even though bad, its experiences in life that makes you a better man.

  3. Find Happiness else where - Love is a part of life and not life as a whole, first realize this basic fact and surviving a break up would come easy. Engage yourself to something you love to do. Let go off all bindings of love and live life your way, turn your dreams to reality and wishes to achievements.

  4. Express your emotions - Blurt out your emotions and don't keep them suppressed as they cause more pain. Confide in your best friend and feel free of your emotions. If you feel like crying and screaming at the top of your voice, do so to free yourself of suppressed emotions. Just remember it's a phase of your life and will be over soon and days of happiness are not far away.

 

Keep the hope alive and believe in yourself, getting over a break up would come easily to you. See life in a new light and give your heart some time to heal and smile will definitely be back on your lips.
